My church hasn't been doing fundraisers lately and we need some money so that our girls can go to Columbus for a concert. also we just need money for everything else too. if you have any good ideas that a small(ish/er) church could use to raise money that would be very appreciated. also please keep in mind that it is January to March/May that we will really be trying to raise some money and we are in Northeast Ohio, so it can't really be a weather-dependent type thing.
The fundraiser that we have been using for the past years is a dinner/breakfast. I want to change it up a bit to get something new that more people will be going to. People would save up money so that they could go to our fundraisers because they wanted to support the children but i also want to reach out to the people that don't usually come, instead of just the elder people of the church.
So far ideas that we have (or that i am thinking of presenting to my church) are:
1. Dinners
2. A "Lady's night" (Another church of mine does this and they have:
1.my mother, whom is a massage therapist, come and give the women a short chair massage
2. Avon/Mary Kay people that give them Manicures/Makeovers
3. Refreshments
4. And a drawing with items from different people (including a certificate from my mom usually and stuff from the Mary Kay/Avon people along with other items) So also if you can think of something else that we might be able to add.
3.Bake sales (or something along the lines of that)
So if you know of anything that we could do to raise money for our church that would be amazing.
Also, if you know of anything that we could do to reach out to the men of our church that would be amazing. Like any suggestions for Superbowl parties and such.

Start a holy crusade and enroll more members so that more of tithes would fill the coffers of the church if the Church is meant to make some good money.
Lest the the church should learn to live with whatever it gets,
Seek first the Kingdom of God and his righteousness and all these things will be added to you.
(Tithing may be a good start)
good old fashioned rummage sale…
What our Pastor did once was he gave every member of the Church (as we all wished to participate being a small church) a $20 bill and we could do anything we liked as long as we used our gifts and talents and multiplied the $20.
Everyone did something different as we all have different talents. I crocheted many different coloured and shaped hats and starched them and another lady who was artistic, decorated them with flowers either straw or artificial silk etc. This was many years ago and we sold the hats for $12.50, $15.00 and $20.00 each. We made a few hundred dollars between us. It was great. Others in the congregation did different things. one man was a woodworker so he made a lovely cross for the church altar. another lady did ceramics, so she made a few nice vases etc and sold them. And on it went like this. I wish I could remember how much we made but I honestly can't. yet it was a great success and everyone felt very honoured to have participated.
how about an "all you can eat" pancake breakfast to be held in your church? The buyers of a ticket will be free to eat as many pancakes as he or she likes and it will serve all people-believers or not.
Talk to a local theater owner and ask if the church can present a certain movie (one with a positive message) and you guys get the money from the ticket sells and the owner gets money from the sales of food stuff there.
Or you guys can have a car wash ha ha ha, not really 
A yard sale. have Church members and friends donate items to host a large yard sale, and at the cashier have a donation box for the event itself.
Bake sale. everyone likes yummy things, and there is no shortage of old women who can bake at churches.

A big open buffet style banquet at the church. there is an Orthodox church nearby that has one of these, and I always go, cause they always have great Mediterranean and Russian food.
